The Health Ombudsman issued a prohibition order to John Allan Erana on 9 April 2025.

The practitioner is prohibited from providing any health service, paid or otherwise, that requires direct contact with and responsibility for patients.

Period of action or order

The prohibition order will continue to have effect until:

• the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets aside the decision, or
• the Health Ombudsman decides to revoke the order pursuant to section 90M of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013.
