Recommendation monitoring

Following a systemic investigation, the health Ombudsman may make recommendations to improve patient safety and the quality and delivery of health services in Queensland.

Where recommendations are made, the Health Ombudsman works with the health service provider to monitor the implementation of these recommendations.

The health service provider will be asked to provide evidence that they have implemented and are compliant with the recommendations.
